Cristina

My girly girl bride, Cristina, asked for something romantic and girly for her Nov wedding at an yacht club, she also asked me to somehow incorporate her beloved schnauzer, Ari, into her invitation design.

I love the details on the sweet penoies, so fluffy!

Sharing is LOVING!

If you love someone, send some custom designed personal notecards their way. That was exactly what Cindi did for her sisters.

Cindi picked a different flower for each notecard that she knew her sisters would love and asked their names to be printed in their favorite colors as well. How thoughtful was that!

These definitely make some great personal gifts!

Joyce

What else do you need to have if you are already getting married at a 400 year old castle in Scotland? That is why Joyce asked for something simple and timeless. Black text on Pearl White stock. No fuss, not over the top. The simplicity of the design allowed the luxurious stock to take center stage.

Dont you just love the sneak peak of the castle on the top?

Oh, Julie!

This invitation, in my opinion, was perfect for a wedding uniting two young beautiful professionals at the Legendary Park Plaza. It has some old school glam and some new school fun.

Julie wanted a hollywood movie ticket-esque feel with a subtle but statement background.

What else screams FUN WEDDING than EAT (delicious food), DRINK (lots of alcohol) and DANCE (put your hands in the air)?

Chic and bold

I am not a fan of seeing those cheesy red envelopes meant for Chinese New Years at weddings... They usually have random patterns on them, festive, yes, stylish, NO. When I worked on an invitation project that had a double luck design, I thought to myself: I think I can make a really chic money envelope with it". Here I am, looking at this elegantly dressed hand crafted red envelope. It has everything an Asian wedding need: Red, Double luck mofit, and sized just right to accommodate some cash or a check :)

The envelope is made with heavy cardstock in a rich deep red, then embellished with a letterpressed Double luck motif.

I think newly weds would be very happy to open envelopes like this! I know I would!

Sweet Beth

Beth was probably the most soft spoken bride I have ever worked with, she chose a shade of green that totally showed how soft and girly she is.

A typography style design with minimal embellishment was modern and understated, perfect for the low-key couple.

To add a touch of pop color and youth, Beth asked to pair the breezy green with whimsical purple.

Carolyn

I was thrilled when Carolyn asked me to design her Asian themed wedding. Carolyn and her fiance, Eric, are one of those stunning couples, they are beautiful, young, fun and just so in love. They turn heads when they are together, I know I couldnt keep my eyes off of them :)

Since Eric is Chinese, Carolyn wanted to incorporate that into their wedding. She wanted something chic, modern yet very Asian. What can be more Asian than the red and gold color combo and the Chinese character,  "Xi" (double luck)?

I love the bright red and the clean white, super chic and clean.

The irregular registry card is unexpected, totally awesome.

Australia Bound!

I love this pair of love birdies! Not only they have the chubby look that I always try to achieve. the bride has a different head accessory than a flower!

The head piece picture the bride had shown me had intricate pearl and crystal pattern, I was very happy that I was able to recreate the pattern with silver paint and pearl/crystal embellishment :)

Featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs

How wonderful to be recognized for my work and being featured on EAD! Belinda and Jim is a lovely couple that I felt instant connection with, I am very honored to be part of their special day. I am glad that the day turned out just the way the bride had envisioned.

Real Weddings: Belinda + Jim

Belinda and Jim’s wedding is not only about as sophisticated and elegant as it gets, but it’s got an utterly fantastic pop of bold color throughout too! Bridesmaids in bright pink BCBG dresses, vibrant pink and red florals dripping with crystals by City of Commerce Flower, and glittering pink favors at each place setting, all set against their stunning venue Athenaeum at Caltech. The venue by itself is amazing, but then add in all these incredible details? I’m 100% smitten. Oh and add in the perfection that is Belinda’s Valentino heels? Make that 110%. Bravo to the whole team responsible for this gorgeous wedding and to Marvin Tsai for the beautiful photos!

Married in London!

Had a buyer from London on Etsy that asked me to make a pair of love birdie. I was very excited when she told me she would like a "waist coat" for the groom birdie, although I had no idea what a waist coat was until I googled it, I knew it was something that I havent done before.

The "wasit coat" (or a vest, according to google) came out great! The groom birdie looked very handsome with it, I love how the tie is so little on the groom.

Have a safe trip to London!

Thank you bunny much

What can be more perfect than a bunny baby shower thank you card for a baby to be born in the year of rabbit? A letterpress bunny pull toy is perfect for this special occasion.

To make the bunnies even cuter and sweeter, I hand-painted each bunny with watercolor to add some whimsical touch.

My first time mixing letterpress and watercolor, I was very happy with the end result. I can't wait to paint my next project!

Sweet envelope

Valentine's day is just around the corner, it inspired me to make something romantic and sweet. I have been wanting to work on a project with paper lace for awhile, and I think the result is lovely and perfect for a love letter.

This envelope is fully handcrafted with kraft paper and paper lace for a rustic vintage feel yet with a touch of sweetness.

How could anyone not feel the love when you opened a card or a handwritten note arrived in this? It would also make any ordinary wedding invitation unique.

Fabric box

I had a chance to work with a high-end garment manufacturer on a project to repurpose their inventory fabric. They had a vision to make something nice to send their collection lookbook to magazine editors and merchandisers at various department stores using their leftover fabric from the production line, so this is what I can up with.

It is a pull-out box that is fits a 5.5" x 8.5" x 0.5" collection lookbook, or anything from pens to small notepads.

I thought the use of leftover fabric was awesome, not only it is green, it also showcases the quality of the fabric.
