Married in London!

Had a buyer from London on Etsy that asked me to make a pair of love birdie. I was very excited when she told me she would like a "waist coat" for the groom birdie, although I had no idea what a waist coat was until I googled it, I knew it was something that I havent done before.

The "wasit coat" (or a vest, according to google) came out great! The groom birdie looked very handsome with it, I love how the tie is so little on the groom.

Have a safe trip to London!

Thank you bunny much

What can be more perfect than a bunny baby shower thank you card for a baby to be born in the year of rabbit? A letterpress bunny pull toy is perfect for this special occasion.

To make the bunnies even cuter and sweeter, I hand-painted each bunny with watercolor to add some whimsical touch.

My first time mixing letterpress and watercolor, I was very happy with the end result. I can't wait to paint my next project!

Sweet envelope

Valentine's day is just around the corner, it inspired me to make something romantic and sweet. I have been wanting to work on a project with paper lace for awhile, and I think the result is lovely and perfect for a love letter.

This envelope is fully handcrafted with kraft paper and paper lace for a rustic vintage feel yet with a touch of sweetness.

How could anyone not feel the love when you opened a card or a handwritten note arrived in this? It would also make any ordinary wedding invitation unique.

Fabric box

I had a chance to work with a high-end garment manufacturer on a project to repurpose their inventory fabric. They had a vision to make something nice to send their collection lookbook to magazine editors and merchandisers at various department stores using their leftover fabric from the production line, so this is what I can up with.

It is a pull-out box that is fits a 5.5" x 8.5" x 0.5" collection lookbook, or anything from pens to small notepads.

I thought the use of leftover fabric was awesome, not only it is green, it also showcases the quality of the fabric.

I heart cake toppers :)

I love to create fun little cake toppers with personal touches, they are not only fun for the wedding day, they also make awesome display pieces post the big day.

Sweet bride Bounnam asked me to create something fun for her, I thought something 3D is always cute. I gave her the hair style that matches her wedding day, it had some height too, as she always teases her hair. The dress has a little 3D detail as well on the neckline, as her beautiful dress had it and that was her favorite part of the dress.

The funny and outgoing groom, Digits, is known to wear colorful Vans. To make sure I focus some attention to that personal detail, I made him a pair of dark purple Vans.

Late to the party

I know it's really late (or too early?) to be talking about X'mas related items, but I just couldnt help but to share some lovely family X'mas cards I made for 2010. I included a picture of my chubby daughter and she made the cards looked sooo precious.

I actually loved the mosiac tile design so much that I had to print them in two different style: one in 2-colors, one in 1-color. Dont you think the single color version looked like digital snow flakes falling from the sky? I thought so!

Not your typical purple and green

I absolutely love the the color combo this fun bride has picked out, it was not your typical purple and green color combo. The green is vibrant and screams HAPPY! I also love those little sunray/abstract floral patterns, super modern and chic! The design was very simple, which allowed the color to stand out even more.
